“ Standard Rental Agreement Terms”
- Renter must be at least 23 years of age and have a valid Drivers License and fulfil other qualifications mentioned in the Rental Jacket .
- Thrifty Car Rental Aruba offers an Optional PDW coverage. This coverage limits your Liability to a Maximum of US $ 500.00 in case of an accident. The PDW is US $ 10.00 or US $ 20.00 per Day, depending on the category of vehicle rented.
- By declining the Optional PDW, the Renter assumes total responsibility for damages caused to the Rental Vehicle, Third Parties and other Liabilities.
- To rent a vehicle, a Major Credit Card is required and Approval will be requested for the Entire Cost of Projected Time Charges as well as the Deductible of US $ 500.00. By requesting a Reservation and having received a Confirmation, the Cardholder will be responsible for a one (1) day charge, should He/She cancel within 24 hours of the day Rental is to begin.
- The rental vehicle has specific uses for which it “may not” be used and which are duly described in the Rental Jacket which becomes Integral Part of the Agreement.
- The battery and tire fee is an environmental surcharge. This surcharge is mandatory.
- If, in case of a car rental reservation of more than one day a customer would return the car after one day, the customer will still be charged a minimum amount equal to 60% of total estimated mandatory charges.
